Healing from ombré brows takes 7-10 days for surface healing and 4-6 weeks for complete healing. Initially (days 1-3), brows appear very dark and bold—this is normal. Days 3-7 bring light flaking as pigment sheds—never pick at this. The color will lighten significantly (appearing 30-40% lighter) during healing. Before your appointment: avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours (they thin blood), discontinue retinoids and exfoliants for one week, don't tweeze or wax brows for 2 weeks (we need hair to map ideal shape), arrive with clean, makeup-free brows, avoid sun exposure or tanning for one week, and stop blood-thinning medications like aspirin (with doctor approval) for one week.
